Privacy Policy

Last updated: 17 July 2026 · Version 1.0 · Beta

Ozeli is a secure wellness platform for adult women, offering self-assessments, educational content, and related tools. This policy explains what information Ozeli handles, how it is protected, and the rights you have over it under India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023.

The short version

Using the assessments and reading content does not require an account. To join the community, ask questions, or access courses, you register with an email or mobile number and a password. When you have an account, your assessment scores are stored securely in the cloud so they follow you across devices. Your password is never stored in readable form. We never sell your data. You can export or permanently delete everything at any time from within the app.

1. Who we are

Ozeli is operated by its founder as the data fiduciary under the DPDP Act, 2023. Ozeli is currently a beta (testing) product. For any privacy question or request, contact ozeli.eva@gmail.com.

2. Age requirement

Ozeli contains adult wellness content, including material on intimate and sexual health, and is intended only for women aged 21 and above. You are asked to confirm you are 21 or older before entering, and again when registering. Ozeli is not directed to, and must not be used by, anyone under 21.

3. Information Ozeli handles

Without an account (assessments and reading content): your responses are processed to show you a result. Where an AI-assisted interpretation is generated, only your de-identified scores are sent for processing — never your name, contact details, or free text.

With an account, we additionally handle:

4. How and where it is stored

Account information and score history are stored on secure cloud infrastructure provided by Google Firebase. Access is limited to authorised Ozeli personnel for support, safety, and service operation. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Passwords are stored only as salted cryptographic hashes and cannot be read by anyone, including us.

5. AI-assisted interpretation

Some results include an interpretation generated with an AI service. Only de-identified numerical scores are sent for this purpose, through a secure server-side relay; your identity and any text you wrote are not sent. AI-generated content can contain errors and is educational only — it is not a diagnosis or medical advice.

6. Research (optional, with your consent)

If you opt in, de-identified scores may be used to improve women's health understanding and the service. This never includes your name or contact details. You can turn research consent on or off at any time in the app under "Privacy & data"; withdrawing stops any further use immediately.

7. What we do not do

8. Your rights under the DPDP Act, 2023

From the "Privacy & data" section inside Ozeli, when signed in, you can at any time:

For any privacy question or grievance, contact ozeli.eva@gmail.com. We aim to respond within a reasonable period as required under the DPDP Act.

9. Data retention

Account data is kept while your account is active. Login sessions expire automatically after 30 days. When you delete your account, associated data is removed as described above. If you stop using Ozeli without deleting your account, you may request deletion at any time via the contact email.

10. Medical disclaimer

Ozeli is an educational and wellness tool. It does not provide a medical diagnosis and is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice. For any health concern, please consult your doctor or a qualified healthcare provider.

11. Changes to this policy

As Ozeli is in beta, features may change. If a change affects how your data is handled, this policy will be updated before that change takes effect, and the "Last updated" date will change. Material changes will be highlighted within the app.
